EMMA

Our Emma has been interested in food and drink since childhood. At the age of 4, she had the sign ‘Emma's kitchen’ placed above the little red Brio stove in her playroom. However, it was a few more years before the art of cooking would take her to the restaurant Lammet & Grisen in Sälen and on Öland. There she acquired a taste for the hustle and bustle and, not least, well-prepared food. A few years later, she was lured back home to Bispbergs Herrgård, just a few kilometres away. It was also there that she recognised the value of local produce and the small-scale approach. Later, with several years of experience in the food trade, the desire to return to the energy and passion of the restaurant industry became strong!

Since autumn 2019, Emma can be seen in the restaurant here at Skedvi Bröd, where our Swedish food tradition is highly valued. Here, the focus is on small-scale and local production. This is reflected in the choice of the food and drink served here. When tradition and innovation meet, new and exciting dishes and flavours are born. Those that can become our new food tradition.

The team spirit and the atmosphere among colleagues are also important elements in the overall experience, says Emma, who hopes that this will be reflected in the overall experience of the guests. It is in this interaction and collaboration that Emma thrives best!

Emma and her colleagues extend a warm welcome to our restaurant at Skedvi Bröd.
